Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer tours?

Yes! Tours are offered once per month ONLY to families that have submitted an enrollment application. You may schedule your tour HERE (step 4). For student safety, we do not offer tours to the general community or individuals outside this process, except during designated community events.

Does Anniston Academy accept students from outside Putnam County?

Yes! We welcome students from across Middle Tennessee and beyond. Families from surrounding counties often find Anniston’s individualized, inclusive approach worth the commute.

What ages or grade levels do you serve?

We currently serve students ages 3-12.

Is financial aid available?

You can learn more about financial assistance here!

Is this a religious school?

No. Anniston Academy is a non-religious, inclusive school. We do not incorporate religious instruction into our curriculum and welcome students of all backgrounds.

What therapies are integrated into the school day?

We embed speech, occupational, and ABA directly into the school day. This allows for seamless support and greater consistency for students who receive services.

How does the school handle students with high support needs?

We individualize supports based on each student’s needs. Our integrated model is designed to include students with a wide range of developmental, social-emotional, and learning profiles. Families will complete an application, and we review evaluations and service plans to determine if we’re a good fit.

Can I still enroll my child if I plan to use a voucher?

Yes. However, to hold your child’s spot, a $350 enrollment deposit per household is still required, regardless of voucher use. If your family is awarded ESA funds, those will apply toward your tuition balance once disbursed.

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes. We offer sibling discounts and work closely with families to create customized tuition plans when needed. Please reach out for more information.

Will we receive a copy of the Student & Family Handbook?

Yes! Once you begin the enrollment application, you will be able to download a copy of the Student Handbook for your review. It outlines all policies, expectations, and procedures.
