Best for families of children with disabilities who qualify for state-funded support.

Anniston Academy will accept payments funded through the Katie Beckett Waiver, which provides financial assistance for families who need specialized educational and therapeutic services for their child.

Families must apply for the waiver through their state’s Medicaid program and provide verification of approval.

Our admissions and billing teams will work with families to coordinate covered services and tuition payments.

This may require a Letter of Necessity from your medical provider in order to qualify as an acceptable payment.

Best for students who have an IEP and qualify for funding through educational support programs.

This program allows for eligible K-12 students with qualifying conditions to receive funds for qualified education expenses.

In honor of Tyler “Ducky” Crouch, brother of Anniston Academy co-founder Dr. Erin Mekkaoui, this need-based scholarship supports students whose families demonstrate financial hardship and a strong commitment to inclusive, community-centered education. Tyler believed everyone deserved a seat at the table, and this scholarship helps ensure no child is left out due to cost.
