There’s Room at the Table—and We’re Saving You a Seat
At Anniston Academy, we believe every child deserves a seat at the table. The Tyler’s Table Scholarship was created in loving memory of Tyler "Ducky" Crouch, who passed away in 2020. His memory helped shape the heart of our school and his legacy continues to inspire everything we do.
A Life Full of Passion and Heart
Tyler was a gentle soul who enjoyed spending hours painting and designing. He was a gifted barber, an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed almost all sports. He had a deep desire to help those in need and had a strong desire to make the world a better place. Tyler loved to make others laugh, and often volunteered his time giving haircuts to those in need at homeless shelters. He believed strongly in helping others find ways to feel good about themselves. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and devoted friend to many.

Tyler was a bright, curious young man with autism, a contagious smile, and a genuine heart for others. More than anything, he wanted everyone to feel included. Whether it was making sure no one felt left out, inviting someone into conversation, or simply being present with warmth and empathy, Tyler had a quiet way of making people feel like they mattered. Tyler's legacy reminds us of the power of inclusion, the beauty of neurodiversity, and the importance of giving every child a place where they are valued.

About the Scholarship
The Tyler’s Table Scholarship provides tuition assistance to students who may not qualify for state programs or traditional financial aid, but who would thrive in a personalized, inclusive setting like Anniston Academy.
