Kathryn DuBray is the Executive Director of Anniston Academy and serves on the Board of Directors of Coalesce Social Services, Inc.. She brings extensive experience across state government, clinical practice, and nonprofit and for-profit leadership, with a career dedicated to improving systems of care for children, families, and underserved communities.

Kathryn has worked closely with state and local government agencies, contributing to policy development, program implementation, and compliance efforts within publicly funded health and human services systems. Her background includes navigating complex regulatory environments, managing public-private partnerships, and aligning service delivery with state and federal requirements.

As a licensed clinician Kathryn has direct experience providing and overseeing behavioral health services across clinical, educational, and community-based settings. Her clinical foundation informs her leadership approach, ensuring that organizational decisions remain grounded in ethical practice, evidence-based care, and the real-world needs of children and families.

In addition to her clinical work, Kathryn has held leadership roles in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, overseeing operations, finance, staffing, compliance, and strategic growth. Her experience spans organizational start-up, program development, fiscal stewardship, and systems-level problem solving across healthcare, education, and social services.

Kathryn holds a Doctorate in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She earned both her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Tennessee Technological University. She also holds a Healthcare Management Certification from Yale University and a Nonprofit Management Certification from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Dr. Patrick McClellan is a retired Sergeant Major of the United States Marine Corps with a distinguished military career spanning more than two decades. He completed eight deployments, including four combat deployments, and served in a wide range of leadership and operational roles requiring strategic judgment, cross-cultural coordination, and high-stakes decision-making.

Among his assignments, Dr. McClellan served as Detachment Commander for U.S. Embassies in Lisbon, Portugal, and Caracas, Venezuela, where he was responsible for security operations, interagency coordination, and diplomatic mission support. He also worked in military recruiting, contributing to workforce development, talent assessment, and leadership cultivation within the Marine Corps.

Following his military service, Dr. McClellan transitioned into the field of social work and public service. He holds a Doctorate in Social Work and Master's in Law from the University of Southern California and an Executive Leadership Certificate in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. His academic and professional background reflects a commitment to bridging operational leadership with evidence-based policy and practice.

Dr. McClellan is deeply passionate about leveraging data-driven strategies to improve individual and community outcomes, with a particular focus on addressing the Social Determinants of Health in ways that reduce fragmentation across systems and promote coordinated, real-world solutions. He brings a systems-level perspective informed by both military leadership and social work practice.

Alyssa Harris serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Anniston Academy, bringing extensive experience in behavioral health, autism support, and the development of individualized services for children with diverse needs.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Alyssa has dedicated her career to supporting children and families through evidence-based, compassionate care. She is trained in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and is a certified Safety-Care trainer, with experience supporting children across a wide range of communication, behavioral, sensory, and developmental needs.

At Anniston Academy, Alyssa contributes both clinical expertise and a deep understanding of the needs of neurodivergent learners. Her perspective helps guide the Academy's commitment to creating an environment where educational expectations are balanced with individualized support, accessibility, and respect for each child's unique strengths.

As a board member, Alyssa helps provide strategic leadership and oversight as Anniston Academy continues to develop innovative educational opportunities for neurodivergent students, their siblings, and families seeking a different approach to learning.

Alyssa believes that children should not have to fit into a predetermined mold to be successful. Her work with Anniston Academy reflects a commitment to building a school community where differences are understood, support is meaningful, and every child has the opportunity to belong and grow.
