More Educational Choice for Tennessee Families: Anniston Academy to Accept Tennessee Education Freedom Scholarship Beginning Next School Year

At Anniston Academy, we believe families should have access to educational options that truly meet the unique needs of their children. We are excited to announce that beginning next school year, Anniston Academy will officially accept the Tennessee Education Freedom Scholarship.

The Education Freedom Scholarship is a Tennessee school choice program designed to provide eligible families with state-funded scholarships that can be used toward tuition and approved educational expenses at participating private schools. The program was created to give families greater flexibility in choosing educational environments that best support their child academically, socially, emotionally, and developmentally.

For many families, especially those raising children with learning differences, autism, ADHD, anxiety, sensory processing needs, behavioral challenges, communication differences, or other individualized support needs, traditional educational settings may not always provide the level of support their child requires to be successful. The Education Freedom Scholarship helps make additional educational opportunities more financially accessible for families across Tennessee.

While exact scholarship amounts and implementation details may vary, the program is expected to assist families with expenses such as:

• private school tuition,

• instructional materials,

• approved educational services,

Unlike some specialized scholarship programs that are limited to students with specific diagnoses or disabilities, the Education Freedom Scholarship is intended to expand educational choice opportunities more broadly for Tennessee families.

Beginning next school year, eligible students will be able to utilize the Tennessee Education Freedom Scholarship to attend Anniston Academy, helping more families access individualized educational opportunities that may have previously felt financially out of reach.

In addition to the Education Freedom Scholarship, Anniston Academy also accepts:

• the Individualized Education Account (IEA) Program,

• Child Care Certificate assistance for qualifying students,
